Treehouse Theatre
Interactive theatre and drama for the history curriculum,
plus story telling, pantomime, festival fun and more...
An exciting hour of dressing up, story-making, music and interactive story-telling.
Suitable for up to 30 children, aged 2-8 years.
Story Box is great for pre-school and Reception year children, helping to develop many EYFS key skills such as building confidence and self esteem, developing team work and cooperation, encouraging imaginative play and creativity, and practicing communication skills, speaking and listening.
The session is a wonderful creative input to topic work, and can be themed to suit your studies.
It can be a great way to break the ice at the start of a new term as everyone gets to know each other.
Story Box

“Although we read stories to the children all the time, Story Box is so much more”
A Story Box hour starts with dressing up in our theatrical tabards. Who will you be?
Throw your ideas into the mix and enjoy creating and performing your own unique fairy tale.
Tune in for some action songs, and then enjoy interactive story telling to round it all off.
Choose from loads of Story Box tales, from round the world or on your doorstep, from timeless classics to modern yarns.
“The children have learnt the songs and become more interested in imaginative play”
Story Box is designed by a qualified teacher with the needs and desires of children firmly at its heart. So....its active and interactive, creative and child-led, can become noisy and off beat, and is always immensely good fun!
“a fantastic actor, he had all of the children engaged”
