Peep into a cosy little workshop, where the kindly shoemakers have long gone to bed, sadly leaving their very last piece of shoe leather out on the bench….


As midnight strikes, we’ll be swept into an immersive, sensory adventure of stitching, sneaking and surprise!

What are the Elves up to?

Who will buy the incredible shoes they make?

And will the Shoemakers discover their secret helpers?

 

With singing and dancing to join in with, and lots of exciting up-close action, this show is a joyful celebration of kindness, teamwork and a little bit of magic.

Duration 45 minutes.

Age guide 2-7 years.

Originally written as a Covid-safe panto for 2 actors in the winter of 2020, we later developed a 3-actor version for the summer of 2021 with support from Arts Council England. It was a joyful time, as we all emerged from lockdowns and every show was a delight. Now in 2026, we have returned to a simple 2-actor format and are developing a gentler, multi-sensory production especially suited for younger audiences. ​
