Tales from the Treehouse - Episode 12 – The Magic Paintbrush

Today we are starting a series of 10 Myths and Legends. The set will include stories from the Ancient worlds of Greece, Egypt and Rome, as well as tales handed down from Saxons, Vikings and Celts.

We are starting with a Chinese Folk Tale, requested by St James Primary school, where year 6 are studying Ancient China. The Magic Paintbrush is a great story for thinking about morality and ethical choices – what would you paint?

If you have any requests for Myths and Legends, please do send them in!

Told by Ben Lindsey-Clark, Tales from the Treehouse invite you to be swept away by your own imagination!

Stories that we listen to (rather than watch) are immersive and engaging. The listeners' imagination is free to draw its own imagery and create its own world, inspiring future interaction with the story and its characters.

Since we're working from home for a while - quite a challenge for a theatre company! - there will be plenty more stories coming! Please subscribe to our blog to keep up to date with the latest episode!
