PART 2!

Beowulf is an Old English epic poem, set in Scandinavia and written around 1000 years ago. We’ve split this story into 2 parts – today's episode concludes the story of Beowulf, when he confronts his nemesis - a Dragon who threatens the peace of his 50 years reign.

This story is the first time that a Dragon Slayer appears in English literature! There’s been plenty more since – can you think of any?
